Musk Shakedown of the FAA

Trump and Musk lie again and Musk puts $2 Billion into his pocket.

INTRODUCTION

Sometimes, I feel like giving out a big sigh, crawling into a dark hole, and lying in the fetal position. I want to go somewhere where I do not have to think about Trump and Musk. Every day, something hits the American people like a ton of bricks, and more of those loads are heading that way.

Just a few days ago, and often repeated, Trump and Musk told another bold-faced lie. Musk said he would not put himself in a conflict of interest and Trump said he would not allow it.

THIS ONE LIE

This one lie, so forcefully made, should be enough to prove to anyone – even the most hardcore MAGA supporters that Trump is not going to make America great again. I am being polite; it shows he does not care about doing what is right for America.

It puts everything into perspective that has been said to try to wake MAGA up to what is happening. There is no more blustering, no more hear no evil. This lie is indefensible, leading to all the other lies, and if Mr. and Mrs. MAGA do not wake up, it will be too late.

SOCIAL SECURITY AND MEDICAID

Trump said that Social Security and Medicaid would not be touched—another bold-faced lie. The department that funds Medicaid will be cut $880 billion, and $220 billion will be taken from Social Security. We might as well throw SNAP in the mix because that is on the chopping block, too.

TRUMP’S STRATEGY

Trump knows there are still enough of MAGA who believe his BS. He knows that many people still drink his Kook-Aid and his lies hold you off until it is too late. His lie about the conflict of interest proves my point.

WHAT IS THE CONFLICT?

Some time ago, the government held an open competition to contract with a company to rebuild the air traffic control system. Musk did not win the contract through a public process. Horizon Wireless did.

Musk has gutted the air traffic control system, terminating more than 400 employees. Now, he is asking retired controllers to return —but that is another story. He also terminated the Horizon Wireless contract, giving his company the $2 billion contract, which Musk could not win through a public process.

You see, Trump held MAGA off with his lie about conflicts of interest until it was too late. The same is happening with Social Security, Medicaid, and SNAP cuts.

This is designed to give the rich a $4.25 trillion tax break, with the wealthiest getting a $671,000 tax break and those making $35,000 getting a $330 break.

Where do you think that is coming from? Out of your pocket – and I have not even touched on the lie about the tariffs. But watch what those do to your pocket and the economy.

WHERE DOES THIS LEAVE THE AMERICAN PUBLIC
