27 Years of Lecturing Us and What Have We Got?
Greenhouse Gas emissions that have only gone up.
Nothing
What have we got? Nothing. C02 emissions that continue to rise and politicians that walk the fine line of not lying, but they also do not tell us the truth. Just think about the guy who will not tell us who slept in the $6,000 bed. No lie, but no truth.
If you continue to do the same, you will get what you have always got. For the politicians and follower ons- including the protesters – at COP27, what they have got is 27 years of staying in some pretty nice tourist hotspots, giving them what they think is their right to lecture us about what we should be doing about climate change and global warming.
Did you Know?
Did you know that the Canadian delegation is about 300 people? What the heck are 300 people from Canada going to do that is productive at that event? Nothing concrete I would suspect. But next year, what was promised this year will have been forgotten and they will all be all ready to do it all over again. Be great to see the participant list and what their action items are so that we may have some chance to hold them accountable – fat chance.
Time for This to Stop
27 years, traveling to Paris, Lima, Egypt Copenhagen, and the list goes on. Flying in on their private jets, all to discuss, pander and ponder climate change, global warming and all its affects. They come away sanctimoniously thinking they have accomplished something that they can lecture us about, and what have we got? CO2 emissions that continue to rise and now they tell us that we are on the cusp.
It is time for this to stop. Time to ask the politicians, the hangers-on, the protesters, what are they doing to combat climate change? What is their plan?
And a plan isn’t yelling and screaming, throwing paint on a picture, blocking roads, or other disobedience. A plan is a plan that actually has some chance, and a plan is other than our increasing costly fossil fuels because of our carbon tax – which by the way is not working. Short stroke, they don’t have a plan.
What Should a Plan Look Like?
At Sustainable Circular Economy, a boutique environmental firm in Vancouver, our goal is to help communities and companies with strategies to organize social and environmental change by implementing actions that are good for the people, the planet and sustainability. These are the three “legs of the stool” for a circular economy which lead to what to do, through a valued review of truths and consequence.
For every action there is a reaction and using evaluation through a circular economy can bring one to a decision that is optimal considering the people, the planet and sustainability. If you would like to talk about how we might help you, please feel free to contact us at Sustainable Circular Economy.
We want to be part of the solution and are here to help.
